The Arts Society Egerton, formally Egerton Decorative and Fine Arts Society (EDFAS), is part of The Arts Society which changed its name in 2018 from NADFAS. It was started in 2001 to provide local residents with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the arts. Currently we have 225 members from Egerton and surrounding villages and  there is no waiting list.

Our programme includes lectures on arts related topics, study days for more in-depth learning and visits to museums, galleries and country houses.

In recent years there has been a very active Church Recording group who have been recording the contents of St Peter and St Paul, in Charing and this work is about to be published. We look to support young people in our Young Arts  programme.

We meet on the second Wednesday of the month from September through until June in the Millennium Hall, Egerton. The lectures start promptly at 2.30pm with tea and biscuits being served afterwards. There is ample free car parking.

Membership costs £40 per annum for individuals and £70 per annum for couples. If you wish to join or come to one of our lectures please  contact Christine Willis, our Membership Secretary.

Existing members are also encouraged to  bring guests,  at a cost of £5.00 per lecture.
The £5 will be refunded should the guest decide to join the society.

You will be made very welcome.
